Blake Fraser.

Blake was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2013 and founded Fraser Lawyers in the same year. The firm has been Bundall-based throughout. Court appearances span the Queensland Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts, the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, and the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

Fraser Lawyers acts in the practice areas central to a balanced South-East Queensland firm: matters that are urgent (a charge sheet, a motor vehicle accident, a settlement at risk) and matters that move slowly (a property settlement, an estate, a commercial deal months in negotiation). Across all of them, the firm's position is the same: explain the framework, set out the options, and let the client decide what to do next.

Core values

What guides our work.

01

Honesty, integrity and respect.

Honesty, integrity and respect underpin every matter Fraser Lawyers opens and every client relationship the firm maintains. Clients have entrusted the firm with sensitive legal work since 2013, and we are grateful for the trust each engagement represents.

02

We honour our commitments.

When the firm makes a commitment to a client, the firm meets it. Hurdles that stand in the way of an engagement are addressed efficiently and transparently. Fraser Lawyers holds itself accountable to the obligations it accepts under each retainer.

03

Performance, measured against process.

No lawyer can guarantee a result. What the firm does commit to is the process by which the work is done: thorough preparation, written advice at every decision point, regular updates, and a clear-eyed assessment of likely outcomes. Performance, on those terms, is what every client is entitled to.

04

Communication and managed expectations.

Most disputes between a firm and its clients trace back to a difference in expectation. Fraser Lawyers takes care to ensure transparency on the four things clients most often want to know: anticipated costs, turnaround times, range of likely outcomes, and how the matter will progress.

05

Client-oriented practice.

The firm is built on referrals and repeat instructions. Many clients return to Fraser Lawyers across multiple matters and life stages. The firm treats each engagement as the start of a working relationship that may last a decade.

06

Problems, opportunities to add value.

Each matter is an opportunity to identify the legal options the client may not have known existed. The firm is willing to work through the unfamiliar — a novel statutory question, an emerging line of authority, a piece of litigation in an area where strong advocacy is needed.

07

We adapt with the profession.

Legal practice has changed significantly in the decade since Fraser Lawyers opened. Court e-filing, digital settlements, AI-assisted research and remote conferencing all sit inside the firm's standard workflow. Fraser Lawyers expects the next decade to bring further change and is built to adapt.

08

Built for the long game.

Fraser Lawyers is structured for the long term: a stable Bundall office, established systems, and a roster of practice areas matched to the legal needs of South-East Queensland clients across the major life events. The firm intends to be acting in a decade in the same areas it acts in today.
